How do I make a purchase on the website?

Step 1 - Select the product you would like to buy.

Step 2 - Select either Add to Cart or Buy it Now. Add to Cart if you want to buy more than one product, and Buy it Now if you want to buy that product immediately.

Step 3 - Enter your relevant details like shipping and billing address details. Make sure someone is available at the delivery address weekdays between 8:00 and 17:00 as this is the time our couriers deliver.

Step 4 - Select the payment method

Step 5 - Select Place Order where you will be redirected to the payment gateway's page to complete the payment.

What happens after I placed my order?

- If your payment was successful, you will receive an email confirming your order with your order number.

- Your order will be shipped within 2-3 days since placing your order.

- You will then receive an email with tracking details as soon as your order is collected by the courier. Once your order is collected your order should be delivered within 2-5 business days, depending on your location.

What do I do if I have problems with the courier and delivery?

- Unfortunately, we can't guarantee a time that your order will be delivered. It entirely depends on the route the courier driver decides to take that day.

- Problems with delivery do occur from time to time. If you do encounter problems, you can either call the courier company directly for immediate assistance, preferably the branch closest to your delivery address. Alternatively, you can contact us with your query and we will follow up with the courier company.

Who can I contact if I have questions regarding my order?

There are several ways to get in touch regarding your order:

- Either reply on your order confirmation email. That way we already have your order number

- Or visit the Contact Us page and use the details listed there to get in touch or fill out the contact form.

- Use the Whatsapp chat button in the bottom right corner to get in touch via Whatsapp.

Can I cancel my order?

If your order is not shipped yet, you can contact us and we will cancel your order and issue a refund.

Do you have a physical store?

It depends. In peak season (winter) we have a physical store and you can find the address on our Contact Us page.

In off-season (summer) we are usually online-only but do offer collection for online orders.

Do you ship outside South Africa?

Unfortunately we only deliver within South Africa.

What happens if I placed an order and the item is out of stock?

If an item is out of stock, it will reflect as such on the website. However, when demand is high, products may go out of stock while you are busy placing your order. We will then notify you and make other arrangements, either by refunding the amount, or providing an ETA on new stock.

ONLINE PAYMENTS

What payment methods do you offer?

We offer safe, secure online payments through South Africa's most trusted payment gateways, Payfast and Ozow. Payfast offers credit/debit cards, Instant EFT, mobicred and Zapper. Ozow offers Instant EFT payments.

We also offer payments with Payflex. With Payflex, you pay 25% upfront, then three payments of 25% over the following six weeks, interest-free.

We only do manual EFT orders for 5 items or more. Unfortunately, we can't accommodate manual EFT orders for smaller orders.

How do I know if my payment was successful?

When your payment is successful, you will receive an order confirmation email stating that we are busy processing your order.

Is it safe to make payments on Parkas South Africa's website?

All our payments are managed by Payfast, South Africa's leading payment gateway. They are completely secure and PCI-DSS Level 1 Service Provider Compliant. Your card information will never be saved on our system, nor can it be seen or intercepted by any unauthorised 3rd parties.

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

How long until I receive my order?

- We try our absolute best to ship all orders within 2-5 working days since your order is placed on our website. Most orders will be shipped within 2 working days. 

- We use 3 trusted couriers - The Courier Guy, Dawn Wing, and Courier It. We mostly use the Courier Guy but all three are trusted partners. All will deliver within 2-4 working days from the day of collection, depending on where you are located.

- If we do run into any unexpected delays, we will contact you.

Can I change my delivery address?

If you want to change your delivery address, we can only do that if your order has not shipped yet. Thus, please get in touch as soon as possible with your order number and new address. We will let you know if an address change is possible.

In short, we offer a 30 day return/exchange and 14 day refunds for any product purchased online.
