Crafted with a genuine leather upper and fully lined in genuine leather, Legend has a richer, more premium feel from the moment it goes on. A leather-topped memory foam sock adds softness underfoot, while our custom-developed wedge TR sole brings a cleaner line and a more considered finish.

This is a shoe designed for men who want the heritage of a vellie in a form that feels more elevated through the week and more versatile into the evening. It is not built as a rugged work shoe first, but it retains the quality and durability you would expect from a proper leather vellie.

Part of our new Burwik range, Legend introduces a more refined direction, one that values understated quality, comfort, and a sharper overall silhouette.

Shipping Info

We offer free shipping countrywide in South Africa for orders of a R1000 or more. For orders less than R1000, we charge a flat rate of R80. Shipping usually takes 2 working days in Gauteng and a max of 5 business days for other areas from the day of order.

We designed a custom sole to improve the side profile of the Legend, making it ideal for the days a reguar vellie feels to casual, but a dress shoe feels like too much.

HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR VELLIES AND BOOTS

Below are steps to care for your leather Vellies and Boots using Spotless products.

SHOP SPOTLESS

For Light Maintenance

  • Step 1

    Use Spotless Leather Clean and Feed to make sure your leather is clean. It effectively removes dirt and grime without damaging the leather and preserves the natural color and texture of your leather Vellies, ensuring they look their best. It's perfect for just freshening up the leather.

    1. Remove excess dirt with a soft bristle brush
    2. Apply a thick amount of cream onto the leather
    3. Allow to sit for 1-2 minutes
    4. Rotate a soft bristle brush in a clockwise direction to lift any excess dirt
    5. Remove excess cream with a clean cloth

  • Step 2 (Optional)

    Use Spotless Clear Leather Cream to treat your Vellies. It preserves the original color, enhances natural shine, moisturizes, and conditions to prevent drying and cracking of the leather. It will help to soften and mature your leather shoes over time.

    1. Apply a small amount of Spotless Clear Leather Cream onto a microfibre cloth
    2. Apply pressure and move in a clockwise direction, while evenly spreading the cream over the leather
    3. Allow time for the cream to penetrate the leather pores

  • Step 3 (Optional)

    Use the Spotless Resistor to form a protective barrier over the leather that helps repel water, dirt, oil and stains. It will help keep the leather looking clean and new for longer.

    1. Make sure the leather is clean
    2. Hold the Spotless Resistor 15-25cm away from the leather and spray in overlapping horizontal lines
    3. Make sure the surface is slightly damp after spraying
    4. Allow 15-20min to air dry

For Heavier Cleaning

  • Step 1

    Use Spotless Shoe Cleaner to make sure your leather is clean. It's a dedicated cleaner that is more effective on tougher dirt and stains.

    1. Remove excess dirt with a soft bristle brush
    2. Dip brush in water and apply 2x sprays to brush bristles with Spotless Cleaner. Make sure to use very little water for suede/nubuck
    3. Lightly brush affected area
    4. Wipe off excess moisture with microfiber cloth
    5. Allow to air dry
    6. Repeat steps 1-5 if necessary
